Marcus & Elizabeth | Matheson Hammocks Park | Coral Gables, Florida

This was THE last engagement session we shot before COVID-19 took over the world. Out of 5 engagement sessions we had planned for March and April, only this one happened and we’re SO glad that it did.

This session brings out so many emotions in us. If we’re honest, we feel incredibly hopeful for the future, excited for the couples that we’ll get to meet along the way in the upcoming months. But it has also left us with a sense of nostalgia for everything that had to be postponed, for the things that were but aren’t anymore, and for the ending of a season, while we wait for the beginning of a new one.

This session reminds us of all of the beautiful elements we get to live with every single day through Colors of Grace - the incredible people we meet, the true romance we get to document over and over again, and the breathtaking world that we get to create in as photographers and videographers. All the things we took for granted that hopefully we never will again.

Marcus and Elizabeth were amazing to work with and they deserved nothing but the very best of us to document one of the most beautiful moments of their life. They’re tying the knot in November 2020 at The Cooper Estate and you know that we’re beyond happy that the date is SO far away. Hopefully nothing will get in the way of these two saying I do forever and ever!! They gave us free range with their session and the only requirement they had was: they wanted a romantic feel to their session. These photographs are literally the definition right next to the word ROMANCE in the dictionary haha.

Cheers to love, to hope, to joy, to the future. Here are the future Mr. and Mrs. Talamas!

Location was Matheson Hammocks Park in Old Cutler.
