Charles & Daimary | Coconut Grove | Miami, Florida

This session literally STOLE our hearts because we not only got the chance to hang out with Charles and Daimary but also with their two pups - Ringo and Cooper! Couples ask us all the time “hey can you guys take pictures of us with our dog(s)?” and the answer will forever and always be heck YES. All of quarantine we have been fighting major puppy fever (since basically everyone has been getting dogs haha) so you can definitely say that we enjoyed ourselves big time with these two fuzzy additions to their engagement session.

When we first started planning C & D’s engagement session, COVID wasn’t even a thing (the good ol’ days), but literally DAYS before their session was scheduled, Miami-Dade County closed down the parks. We were incredibly bummed for them because we knew how much they had been looking forward to this day and to finally be able to send out their save the dates. We hopped on a call with Charles and we made the decision to just leave it pending TBD. All of our hearts crushed.

Well guys, looking back at it now…that was absolutely the best decision everrrrr because fast forward to July when we finally made it happen, we had a TON of ideas that we definitely did not have way back when we had originally planned to do everything. We were able to help them pick their outfits ahead of time and even plan out a totally different idea for the day, which ended up being so much more stunning than we could have ever imagined.

On the actual day of the session, we arrived about an hour early and scouted all of Coconut Grove trying to find the best places and boy, we struck gold. We found a super cute cafe/shop called The Bazaar Project that was so quirky and colorful and it was perfection. Pablo gave them a quick call to ask if we could just shoot outside of the shop so that our couple could grab a couple of coffees and we got a huge thumbs up. BUT IT GOT EVEN BETTER! When we arrived with our couple, the owner, Yeliz, told us to please feel free to shoot anywhere we wanted inside the shop - seriously a dream come true. And that’s what we did! So thankful for Yeliz and her wonderful team, for opening their doors and giving our couple such a sweet opportunity. We had no idea that Charles and Daimary’s session would end up being so colorful and vibrant, but man, we wouldn’t change a thing because you can SO feel their joy and their excitement through each and every photograph.

Counting down the days till these two become Mr. and Mrs. Pinchevsky!
